Today, we are launching the first version of agentic buying on CloudX.

Since inception, our vision has been to deliver you powerful mobile advertising infrastructure, operated by intelligent agents. We started on the supply side. Earlier this year, several of our publishers asked if we could apply the same philosophy and approach to acquiring new users. We realized that an interoperable, intelligent platform would make it possible to unlock their own data for better performance and more control for the first time. As we connect that platform and logic directly to other publishers and the outside world, we can offer a new, differentiated channel for growth.

In the past, this would be too hard to operate without massive bidding infrastructure. Bidding well requires a huge investment in performance and modeling, and a big team to operate it all. With agents, we realized that these problems can be managed effortlessly, just as we do today on the supply side. 

As a first step, we decided to build a creative generation tool. It makes it easy to generate beautiful creatives. A new model for growth, enabled by intelligence

Agentic buying is not only about the technical and product innovations that you will start to see coming at a rapid pace. It’s also a different economic model.

For years, user acquisition has run through ad networks and demand-side platforms, for good reason. Buying users well takes a lot at once: aggregating supply and demand, settling payments, modeling who is worth bidding on, and bearing the risk of buying impressions to deliver installs. Very few publishers could assemble all of that alone, or wanted to attempt to do it, so these platforms bundled it. The price of this bundle is typically a margin. If there are multiple counterparties, like in programmatic, this margin adds up quickly as the number of companies involved grows. In a vertically integrated ad network model, this margin is usually an arbitrage in practice. 

With our agentic platform, for the first time, you can grow by buying directly from your peers. Agentic buying makes publisher-to-publisher buying possible on CloudX: you acquire users by purchasing inventory directly from other publishers, on terms you can see, with no arbitrage or extreme margin. And you can cross-promote across your own portfolio, with agents optimizing for lifetime value instead of shuffling installs at a loss.
