Android SDK 4.9.0 adds the Ad Quality Gate, so you can screen every loaded ad before it reaches your app. It also reports the size of loaded ads, and lets CloudX-rendered fullscreen video show more end cards.
Android SDK 4.9.0
What’s new
- Ad Quality Gate: Register a
CloudXAdQualityGatewithCloudX.setAdQualityGate()to screen each loaded ad beforeonAdLoaded. A blocked ad is discarded and the SDK tries the next bid. A gate that times out or throws lets the ad through. - Ad size:
CloudXAd.adSizereports the size of a loaded ad in dp, such as 320x50 for banners and 300x250 for MRECs. - Multiple end cards: CloudX-rendered fullscreen video ads can show more than two end cards when the creative provides them.
- Mediation Debugger:
CloudX.showMediationDebugger(context)now opens only after SDK initialization completes, and returnsfalsebefore that.
Getting started
Update to io.cloudx:sdk 4.9.0 and recompile code built against 4.8.x. Custom implementations of CloudXAd must be rebuilt, and Java implementations must also add getAdSize(). Read the Android integration docs to get set up.
